January 28th, 2008 - The writing industry is one of the most competitive, and toughest to break into, yet Melissa Ingold has found success writing from home part-time so that she can be with her children. "I've always been a writer; it's a part of who I am," says Melissa. "But it wasn't until I became a mom in 2001 that I realized how important that talent would become. I was determined to stay at home after my maternity leave ended, so I did the only thing I knew how to do from home, write."
The World Wide Web has made it possible for writers to avoid the hassles of the traditional writing and submissions process; unfortunately, many new writers find themselves becoming prey to the tangle of hidden scams, and frustrated by their lack of progress.
